A Study on the Self-actualization Experience of Middle-aged Married Women after Participation in Psychodrama : Focused on Photovoice

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the self-realization experiences of middle-aged married women who participated in psychodrama and photovoice. To this end, a photovoice was conducted for six middle-aged married women living in Gyeonggi-do after conducting psychodrama. Participants in the study shared the meaning and feelings of the photographs through a collective discussion after taking pictures that could represent their experiences of psychodrama participation and subsequent changes. Topic analysis methods were utilized for data analysis, and three topics and seven subtopics were derived from the analysis. The three topics were ¡°Life that has lived without knowing what it wants,¡± ¡°Time to rediscover¡± and ¡°Life that recognizes me.¡± Through this study, middle-aged married women were able to recognize themselves through psychodrama and photo-voice, have the courage to challenge themselves, love themselves, and practice sharing happiness.
